Orders and Confirmation

Orders may be placed by telephone or online at www.melbournemusiccentre.com.au. Acceptance of orders is entirely at the discretion of Melbourne Music Centre.

Orders are not accepted by Melbourne Music Centre until we provide you with an email confirmation of your order.

So that the Melbourne Music Centre can provide our customers with prompt service, we request that you provide us with your correct contact details at all times when placing orders.

We accept VISA, Mastercard, PayPal, Afterpay

Please note prices may be subject to change at any time, especially in the case of items showing as Call For Availability.

Availability

All products displayed on the Melbourne Music Centre website are generally in stock (unless out of stock is indicated in listing) and available to ship to the customer within 3 business days of receipt of order and payment.

Shipping times are estimated at between 3-7 business days or more depending on your location within Australia.  

Unless otherwise specified, all of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and Services Tax).

Free Shipping

Items that display the FREE DELIVERY ribbon entitle you to FREE SHIPPING on that product.

When placing orders that combine FREE DELIVERY items and NON-FREE DELIVERY items, you will only be charged shipping on the NON-FREE DELIVERY items. FREE DELIVERY items may be dispatched via Parcel Post - Standard Service or via Standard Post envelope.

When adding items to the Shopping Cart or Checking Out enter your postcode in the field provided as normal.

No shipping charge will appear as shipping is free on this item.

If you place an order combining items with FREE SHIPPING and items that have a shipping fee, only the items with a shipping fee will display shipping method and cost.

Due to software limitations, please disregard the Express Shipping option and select Parcel Post- Standard Service at cart & checkout.

Next Business Day Shipping Guarantee

We will guarantee your goods will be dispatched no later than the next business day after your order is received. We often dispatch same-day on orders received before 1 pm.

Tracking information is supplied via email.

Delivery

Except for print orders and small items such as strings, cables or accessories which are able to fit in an available letter or PO BOX, we require someone to be present at the place of delivery to confirm delivery.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the given address. 

Should an order be returned to us due to the reason that the delivery address supplied by the customer was incorrect or needs to be re-directed at the customer's request, the fees to re-deliver the order will be passed on to the customer.

If you do not agree with the incurred fees for the re-delivery you may cancel your order however the incurred fees for the return of the product to us will be deducted from your refund.

We ship most orders with Australia Parcel Post to a home or business address.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the given address.

All Online Deliveries are made Monday to Friday Only. 

We are unable to advise delivery times or call prior to delivery, however, we will provide you with, when available, a consignment number or Parcel Post details so that you may track your delivery.

Large and Bulky Items

This means your item exceeds allowed Australia Post weight and dimensions. Due to these restrictions, you will be unable to complete our regular checkout In these cases, alternative shipping methods will need to be arranged. So, we can assist you with placing your order and arranging delivery, please call us on 03 95782426 or email info@melbournemusiccentre.com.auUpon receipt of your enquiry, you will be provided with a freight quotation and order total. Until this quotation is agreed by you, you are under no obligation to continue with your order.A Melbourne Music Centre representative will assist you in finalizing payment and shipping arrangements. Your goods will be shipped by courier of our choice to your residential address.Depending upon location this method can incur a considerable expense, especially when dispatching to remote areas (NT, Outback WA, Regional SA, Regional NSW & North QLD).It’s the customer’s responsibility to be in attendance to sign for the delivery. Extra charges will apply for redelivery if the address is unattended at the time of original delivery and goods will not be released by the freight company until extra fees are paid.In some cases, we can arrange for the goods to be drop-shipped from our supplier’s warehouse. Melbourne Music Centre will inform you if this option is available.

The following conditions will apply;

Delivery to NON-RESIDENTIAL OR INSTITUTIONAL/BUSINESS addresses must be during regular Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm daytime business hours. 

Someone MUST be in attendance to sign for the delivery. 

These conditions DO NOT include businesses operating out of DOMESTIC premises in RESIDENTIAL areas.

Click & Collect

You are welcome to visit our Retail store to collect your order in person. To do this you will need to apply the CLICK & COLLECT discount code during checkout to avoid freight charges being applied at checkout. Your order must be paid in full before it can be released.

PLEASE READ:In choosing the Click & Collect option you are agreeing to pick up your order from our retail store.No Click & Collect orders will be dispatched to customer’s address.

Things to consider;

When your order is ready for collection, a confirmation email stating that “Your order is now ready for Pick up” will be sent to your email address and a copy of the Invoice will have also be sent as your proof of purchase.

Please bring your Invoice and valid ID with you to the store when collecting your order.Without a copy of your invoice, your order cannot be released.Melbourne Music Centre is open 7 days a week.

Product Conditions  

At Melbourne Music Centre Online, all products are checked by our experts before dispatch. All of our products are sold with FULL MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY and may not always come with original packaging due to the original manufacturers packaging being deemed unsuitable for shipping. Packaging may be opened for inspection prior to dispatch.

Damaged Goods

Melbourne Music Centre ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS NOT REPORTED WITHIN 48 HOURS OF DELIVERY.

Warranty  

All new products are sold with the supplier's limited warranties. The terms of the warranty vary depending upon the supplier and product.

Please call Melbourne Music Centre for further details. Except to the extent required by law or to the extent otherwise specified, Melbourne Music Centre provides no separate warranty.

Return Policy (New Items)

You may be entitled to a refund, repair/exchange or credit, if the goods you have purchased from our store are faulty, significantly different than described features advertised, or do not fulfill the purpose for which they were advertised.  Manufacturer’s warranties apply where applicable. Misuse of items will not be covered by warranty.

Returns Must come with a copy of the original receipt and original packaging.

 As a courtesy, we will consider store returns for a  period of 14 days for Store Credit or Exhange ONLY, and then only if the returned goods are;

 - In the condition which the goods were purchased with the original packaging. ( Please Note:  The condition of the item is to be determined exclusively by Melbourne Music Centre).

 - Are returned with a copy of the original receipt for proof of purchase.

If either of these requirements is not met, the Melbourne Music Centre will not sanction a return. .Melbourne Music Centre is a small family business, NOT a National Corporation. As such, we cannot offer refunds for people who have simply changed their minds or have fallen on harder times and need the funds for other purposes.We are not responsible for any costs incurred from a change of mind return, such as postage or travel costs. Returns to be determined at the discretion of the vendor.

Return Policy (Second Hand Items)

At Melbourne Music Centre, we strive to provide our customers with second-hand items that meet their expectations. Please read through our return policy for second hand items.

1. Eligibility for Returns:

The only time we will consider a return for a second hand item is if the item is clearly broken or non-functioning unless sold otherwise. This does not include minor cosmetic defects (general wear & tear, scratches, dings) or minor electrical issues that naturally arise from vintage/old gear (vintage hum, scratchy pots etc). We do our best to list all known defects with the second hand items we sell.

We pack these items appropriately for delivery and we do not accept liability for any damage that is caused as a result of shipping. We recommend paying extra for insurance if it is being sent with Australia Post. Keep in mind if a courier is used, no extra insurance can be purchased and it is being sent at your own risk.

2. Non-Returnable Items:

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OF SECOND HAND ITEMS ON CHANGE OF MIND. If you cannot come into the store and try the item yourself, please take time to make your decision as we do not accept change of mind returns for second hand goods.

3. Inspection and Approval:

If an item is accepted for return, we will inspect it upon it's arrival. If there is any extra damage, whether it be due to shipping or the customer, we reserve the right to not initiate a refund/exchange.

4. Return Shipping Costs:

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping and insurance as per our shipping policy.
