This half size violin has plenty of cosmetic damage especially on the front body. This damage includes deep scratches to the front body, which go through the lacquer into the wood, chips to the side of the body, dings around the edges. The headstock has significant wear around the scroll on the front and back, the tailpiece has some scratches to the paint. The chinrest has rusting and patina. Despite these cosmetic defections, the structural integrity of the violin has not been compromised and is in a great playable condition. There is no evidence this violin has undergone any repair work. The violin does not come with any rosin, but does come with a bow and a case.
