The Tube Screamer from Ibanez (originally built by Maxon) ranks as one of the most influential pedals ever made and set the bar for generations of overdrives to come.
The TS9 of the early-to-mid '80s was the second Tube Screamer model after the TS808 and has been used by guitarists from the gamut of styles including Trey Anastasio of Phish and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Originally produced from roughly 1981 to 1985, the TS9 was brought back into production in the early '90s
